Where should construction waste be transported - a detailed review with reviews and recommendations

In recent years, the issue of timely removal of construction waste has become especially relevant among the population. Some people are sure that trash containers located near residential buildings are designed for construction waste. However, they are intended only for the collection of household waste generated during everyday life. At the legislative level, it is approved which waste is allowed to be thrown into garbage containers located next to houses.

What is considered construction waste?

Even with a little repair, there is a problem of the removal of construction waste. Often waste from the construction site is carried out of the apartment in bags into the yard. What is legally required to do with old tiles, wallpaper, doors, windows and other construction waste? After all, the accumulated bags must be taken somewhere.

Let us first determine what waste is considered construction waste.

Construction waste is considered to be all waste generated during the repair, dismantling of walls or coatings, as well as the restoration of buildings and premises. Waste may be presented:

  • fragments of brick or concrete;
  • pieces of plaster;
  • old frames, windows and doors;
  • scraps of metal structures;
  • pieces of various finishing materials.

Building waste groups

Construction waste can be divided into three groups:

  1. Appeared at the very beginning of work. This is large rubbish, such as the remains of demolished walls. They must take it out immediately, because it interferes with subsequent work.
  2. Parts of finishing and packaging materials that appeared during the repair process.
  3. Waste accumulated during finishing work.

The requirements of the law in this regard

The Code of Administrative Offenses sets out requirements for the removal of construction waste, for violation of which a fine is provided.

The most common violations include the lack of a barrier to the construction site and the removal of construction waste from its border. In this case, an individual may receive a fine in the amount of 1000-2000 rubles. Legal entities for the same violation receive a fine in the amount of 20,000-100,000 rubles. This does not exempt from the need for garbage removal, so you need to immediately take out all the waste in a specially designated place.

If you do not remove the garbage immediately after paying the fine, individuals will need to pay an additional 6,000 rubles, and legal entities - 10,000 rubles.

It is important to remember that garbage can be mistaken for organizing an unauthorized landfill. In this case, a fine will be issued to an individual in the amount of 50,000 rubles, and to a legal entity - 200,000 rubles. That is why it is most correct and cheapest to remove construction waste in a specially designated place for this in a timely manner.

What to do with construction waste and old furniture?

It is impossible to reliably calculate the amount of waste that is generated during the repair process. Do not leave debris in the stairwell or near garbage containers. Neighbors can complain about you to the appropriate authorities and you will be fined.

In the city, the easiest way to conclude an agreement with a company specializing in the removal of construction waste. In addition, it will be much cheaper than paying a fine.

Take out on your own or hire people for this?

Construction waste must be taken to a special landfill. Some suggest that removing all construction waste there will be much cheaper than using the services of specialized firms.He notes that such an action is rational only if it is necessary to remove 1-2 bags of garbage.

Bulky garbage at a time can only be taken out by truck. Renting such a vehicle is quite expensive, especially if the landfill for construction waste is located at a great distance from the repair site.

Not everyone knows where the landfills are located on which it is allowed to throw construction waste. Not all landfills sort and recycle construction waste. In addition, it will require a lot of effort and take you a lot of time. It will be much more practical to use the services of a company specializing in the removal of construction waste.
